Ladd, it would turn out, was the scion of one of the United States’ most prominent ranching families. The Drummond family is based in Osage County in Oklahoma, which is the largest county in terms of land area in the country. The Drummond family owns most of that land to this day, which gives us a pretty good idea of that particular family’s net worth.
