World’s Richest Chefs

Christopher Kimball – ~$20 million

New York-born Christopher Kimball is another culinary tycoon whose journey to the top of the culinary world was a strange and unconventional one. In 1973, he earned a degree from Columbia University and then worked in the publishing industry for some time. He later conceived Cook’s Magazine, which came into fruition after a $100,000 funding from investors. This then led to several other food magazines and cookbooks. Later, he moved on to hosting several cooking shows, including America’s Test Kitchen, and even a popular cooking program on the radio.
